Our Mission
HoCo Boys Club Lacrosse is a unique club lacrosse program; we are devoted to the game – and to its players. Our belief is that every player should be offered an opportunity to participate at high levels of competition in a cost-effective environment for player development with high levels of participation by both players & coaches - still remain the cornerstones of our club.
Our focus for players of all ages is player development of skills and game awareness. We strive to help every player improve as a lacrosse player and teammate, on and off the field.
Director - Dusty Heusser
Dusty grew up in Howard County playing Cobra Lacrosse and Howard Huskies Ice Hockey. He is a 1992 graduate of Glenelg High School, where he was a three year varsity lacrosse starter, a two time First Team All-County player, and a member of the Howard County All-Star Team. He briefly played at Lynchburg College and currently plays with the Glyndon Lacrosse Club in the Maryland Masters League. He is on the Board of Directors for the Howard County Lacrosse Program as the Boy’s HOCO Club Director, and has coached for the past nine years. He is also on the Board of Directors for Cattail Creek Country Club, and is the Junior Golf Committee Chair. Dusty resides in Glenwood with his wife, Elise, and their three children, Kort, Blair and Grant.
YOUTH Director - Ryan O’Connor
Ryan grew up in Ellicott City and is a 1996 graduate of Glenelg High School, where he played three years on the varsity lacrosse team. Ryan resides in West Friendship with his wife, Lori, and their three children, Sierra, Caden, and Bently. When he's not at Caden and Bently’s lacrosse games, he can be found at their other sports events and social activities.
